Karate for Kids

There are many reasons for kids to become involved in the martial arts. We have developed a program based on traditional Taekwondo for kids called “Karate for Kids”. The Karate for Kids system is based on a lifetime learning concept in addition to technical skills. The building blocks for our system are monthly themes such as:

  • Friendship
  • Perseverance
  • Self-Control
  • Confidence
  • Courtesy
  • Respect
  • Integrity
  • Self-Esteem

Martial Arts for Adults

We train all students even adults, to the best of their ability. Some adults come to us in shape, while others have come to us 100 pounds overweight! Most come to us with limited flexibility. Adults start at any age. We have had some adults who started as late as thier 60’s, and still earned their Black Belts! As a student, you are looked upon as an individual, never compared to anyone else. Our instructors will be there every step of the way. All that is expected of you is a willingness to try. In addition, a Taekwondo class will provide you with a vigorous workout that will develop both your strength and stamina. Many Adults find Taekwondo to be the perfect outlet to release all of the stresses and frustrations that can build up every day!

ATA Taekwondo

Taekwondo is a non-agressive and ethical system of self-defense. Taekwondo developed over 1,000 years ago and has since spread internationally to become one of the world’s most successful and popular martial arts. Its practitioners enjoy physical and mental discipline, as well as excellent fitness and the ability to defend themselves if necessary. Taekwondo is not only a combat sport, but is also a way of life for enthusiasts around the globe. Counting both the U.S. and worldwide, the American Taekwondo Association has over 1,500 independently owned and operated licensed schools and clubs, and have registered over one million students since the ATA’s inception in 1969.
